Lexxel has acquired Thin Film Technology, a company with an established history of over 35 years in formulating high-performance epoxy coatings, leading the field in underwater and moisture-tolerant applications. TFT’s custom-formulated products range from elastomeric polysulfide putties to high-strength, low-viscosity fiber-reinforcing epoxy resins which have numerous industry applications. Safety and ease of use are built into every product.

TFT’s specialty solvent-free coatings manufacturing will become the foundation of Lexxel’s Advanced Materials division. Paired with Lexxel’s other services, these coatings can be applied in industries like nuclear, oil, and gas. Lexxel expects accelerated growth through this acquisition and is optimistic that it will expand its ability to serve new and old customers.
